2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Review

2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk Review - Video

With one foot in the past and an eye toward the future, Jeep will enter 2014 with an all-new mid-size SUV using the legendary Cherokee name. After a year absence in the segment, the Cherokee replaces the discontinued Liberty with a vehicle that Jeep says improves fuel economy by 45 percent, provides best in-class capability in off-road performance and towing, and features “superior” on-road ride and handling.
But is the new Cherokee truly a “Jeep”?
Our answer might sound like a copout, but here it is: The Cherokee is and isn’t truly a Jeep, all at the same time. It’s true that the Cherokee clearly represents a step toward the future for the Jeep brand and also returns it to a large market sector, but that sector is not necessarily known for attracting the hard-core off-road enthusiasts that effectively built the brand.

1981 Jeep Scrambler - 4-Wheel & Off-Road Magazine

A little write up about a vehicle we sprayed bed liner coatings on.  To bad they didn't catch the typo on Truck Decor, but hey...we'll take  the recognition!

It's a Bugatti Veyron in Gulf livery!
Typical. You leave your precious, million-pound Bugatti Veyron outside on the street and some ‘yoof' comes along and daubs it in spray paint. ‘Broken Britain' and all that, eh?
Err, not quite. Not unless these feral paint peddlers have an innate appreciation for the Aston Martin LMP1 and Porsche 917s of yore; iconic cars liveried in the blue and orange of Gulf oil. No, this could only be the work of one particular artist, Mr Ian Cook of PopBang Colour - the gentleman who makes messy automotive art with radio controlled cars, car tyres and toy wheels.
To celebrate the launch of the Wilton House Supercar and Classic show this weekend, he and Lord Pembroke mulled over the idea of doing something interesting with his Bugatti Veyron. The artwork on the bonnet is a reference to the Bugatti logo - which has now become a big fat splat of paint - and the whole thing was wrapped with both the Porsche and Aston featuring on the Bug's flanks. You have to admit, it's quite striking, no?
Have a click through the gallery for more pictures and let us know what you think. The supercar show kicks off on Sunday 5th August.
